PRACTICAL HORSEMANSHIPwith Anni Stonebridge BSc Horsemanship is a journey of self discovery. Elation, confidence, excitement, elegance, expression and energy are all things we can share with our horse. Building bravery and confidence, listening energy and mindfulness in ourselves is crucial to allow us to share them in a satisfying and successful horse-human relationship. "The persons approach can assure the horse that he can have his self-preservation and still respond to what the person is asking him to do...If the inside of a person or horse is bothered, it's for sure that the outside is going to show it'", True Unity - Tom Dorrance. Through individual or small group coaching, Anni can help you explore your relationship with your horse. Her aim is to build calmness, fitness, confidence and trust through teaching practical patterns that can change how your horse uses their body and develops physical and emotional balance, and how effective you are with your riding and groundwork. "People who are well-balanced within themselves will also find good balance in the saddle", Classical Schooling with the Horse in Mind - Anya Beran. Anni has spent over twenty years working with horses as a rider, trainer, hoof trimmer and saddler, and ten years working with people as a psychologist in theories of change. In the last ten years she has trained with a wide range of international horsemen including Steve Halfpenny, Lisa Bruin, PNH, Kelly Marks, and Mike Barker. She is currently studying to become a Silversands Associate. To arrange a training session call Anni on 07766 913595, or email anni@barefootworks.co.uk. |
