Barefootworks will be running a number of clinics throughout 2008 for professionals and horse owners.
HORSES, FOCUS & LISTENING ENERGY
Handling skills for horse professionals - 8 students maximum
This clinic focuses on safety, confidence and horsemanship for the equine professional, with particular attention to leg and hoof handling, and young horse skills. The course will give you a practical understanding of horse psychology and horsemanship approaches that quickly develop trust and confidence, using a range of different horses. During the day we will also introduce the student to some basic Tai Chi energy awareness skills.

Horse & human behaviour clinic for horse owners - 6 students maximum
This clinic is a fun introduction to assessing how you and your horse interact, and how you can intervene to help develop a better level of trust and confidence between you.
Intro level - Sunday May 25th 2008
Moving on - Sunday July 27th 2008
The moving on clinic is for horse and human partners that have already spent time developing their horsemanship. The aim of the clinic is to improve individual sensitivity, 'soft feel', and to help you work out an individual development plan.
